Barack Obama follows the U.S. Constitution when it serves him. When inconvenient (such as leaving the legislating to Congress or honoring the Second Amendment), he disregards, disdains, and summarily annuls those sections he finds disagreeable. But don’t take my word for it.
According to renowned legal scholar Jonathan Turley, a self-described liberal, “We have a president who’s claiming the right to basically rewrite or ignore or negate federal laws. That’s a very dangerous thing.”
Dangerous. Indeed.
“This is the 27th time that Obama has unilaterally amended a law that has already passed Congress,” said Charles Krauthammer on the White House’s latest Obamacare delay, “You’re not allowed to do that.”
Meanwhile, the liberal press and Obama acolytes remains silent, instead demagoguing the trumped up “wars” on women, minorities and gays and squealing about Voter ID and minimum wage laws. As they distract our attention, the White House merrily continues its unprecedented power grab.
It is time for right-thinking Americans to find out what’s really happening and, as Dr. Ben Carson says, wake up and seize the reins. We can and we must, first by informing ourselves beyond the propagandist media.
