Have you heard the news? Trump conservatives are no longer deplorable: We are Hitler. Just ask Stephen Colbert.

No matter our ethnicity, the ruling establishment brands us as white supremacists responsible for the ills plaguing mankind in the past, today and forevermore. Hell, deplorables are so powerful we even cause catastrophic hurricanes.

Quite a feat.

In normal times, histrionics from shrieking lunatics would inspire derisive snickers from rational humans. Problem is, it’s the rational humans who are Hitler and therefore scrubbed from consideration. And that is no laughing matter.

Collectivist harpies are overtly waging war the only way they know how: through mob intimidation. Not that this isn’t a risky maneuver. Media conglomerates to professional sports leagues and entertainment empires are taking huge hits by demonizing half their customer base. They simply don’t seem to care.

Bashing Christians and white conservatives has become cliché. Danny Zuker, producer of the ABC sitcom “Modern Family,” revealed Hollywood’s contempt by tweeting: “Dear Christians, if you support Donald Trump’s decision to end DACA, your Christianity is bullshit. But on the other hand fuck you.”  Filmmaker Guillermo del Toro calls “Make America Great Again” “a cancer,” and bubble-brain actress Jennifer Lawrence blamed the recent hurricanes on Trump’s election. Bill Maher to Bette Midler and dozens of other leftist celebrities suggest withholding federal aid to Texas and Florida to punish Republican voters.

In 2016, Hollywood reported its smallest audience ever, until this year which is tanking even more. Maybe, just maybe, suburbanites have grown weary of being characterized as shallow, hypocritical, materialistic, bigoted automatons—especially when the people mocking them are shallow, hypocritical, materialistic, bigoted automatons.

Perhaps the most bone-headed babbling belongs to Camping World CEO Marcus Lemonis, who slammed Trump after the Charlottesville incident: “There’s no doubt that there’s probably not many consumers in this country today that are in favor of what has been said in the last couple days and if they are, quite frankly, don’t shop at my business.”

Why are his comments relevant? Because Camping World owns the outdoor chain Gander Mountain and sells recreational vehicles. You tell me: Who in the hell buys RVs and hunting rifles? It ain’t pajama boys, Antifa thugs and BLM supporters. Yet CEO Lemonis, (who a week later tepidly walked back his remarks), literally told his red-state conservative customers to get lost. Message received, pal.

Likewise, ESPN’s rank politicizing of American sports is precipitating its swirl down the media toilet. Viewership for NFL games, by allowing millionaire athletes to disrespect our flag, military and law enforcement, is down double digits and accelerating. For every Jemele Hill and Colin Kaepernick, there are thousands of sports fans clicking off their remotes in disgust.

The media. Once we believed what they told us. For generations, the New York Times, network news and later cable news outlets reported what was important, and we trusted their judgment without question. No more. Professionalism has been supplanted by cronyism, leftist advocacy, hackery and elitist arrogance; worst of all—these incompetent inbreds lie. And we’re onto them. Why do you think Jim Acosta, Chuck Todd, Jake Tapper, Don Lemon, Joe and Mika, Joy Reid, CNN, NBC, and others are in a collective rage?

It’s because people are tuning out, turning off and going elsewhere for information. Fake news long held a monopoly on messaging, but as the 2016 election proved, grass roots activists engaged millions starving for investigative journalism. While they preached and preened, press propagandists literally made themselves irrelevant.

Yet the progressive bullies rage on. MSNBC’s Katy Tur wails Trump winning the election “endangers her life” and we yawn. Yet another fusty New York Times columnist thunders about white supremacy and how conservatives are ignorant bitter gun-toting racist hayseeds. No one listens.

Why should we? After all, we are Hitler. Just ask Stephen Colbert.
